Position Overview
FedEx Freight is hiring Class A CDL Drivers for local and regional LTL pickup and delivery routes. You will operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck, transporting commercial freight between business docks and FedEx Freight service centers. This is a home-daily position with predictable weekday schedules and full FedEx corporate benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer or straight truck on local and regional LTL routes.
- Pick up and deliver palletized commercial freight to business loading docks using a pallet jack.
- Secure freight using straps, load bars, and dunnage to prevent shifting during transit.
- Complete all required DOT paperwork, manifests, and electronic logging device (ELD) entries.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per FMCSA regulations.
Qualifications & Benefits
